Grand Opening of Fat Fridays in Chroma

The newest event to hit Ultrabar is Fat Fridays in Chroma, July 15.  The exclusive open bar is open to ladies 21 and over from 10pm- 1am.  DJ Kid Lucky will be spinning Top 40, Mashups, and House.  Free admission before midnight for ladies 21 and over.

What happens in college sometimes stays there. Just ask Sam Adams. From a D3 soccer all-star to a frat house rapper screaming "F*@K THE WORLD!!!" to drunk college kids, Sam did it all, just like you. The only difference? This man's got some serious flow!!!

From his "I Hate College," remix of Asher Roth's hit to his various (alleged) beefs throughout New England with other MC's, one thing is clear; Sam Adams is a live wire!!

This past summer belonged to Sam. He dropped an album, did signings and cemented his place as 'Boston's Boy.' His first week track sales have done better than Lil Wayne's!! Like we said, the man's got flow.

Brazilian Beauty, DJ Tatiana Fontes Performing Live at Ultrabar

Brazilian beauty, DJ Tatiana Fontes will be performing a special, live DJ set @ Ultrabar-Friday, September 17!

Model/actress/DJ… scratch that. Actress/DJ/model … wait, wait. DJ/model/actress Tatiana Fontes is hardly your typical Hollywood wannabe jock. Now THAT’s more like it!!

Nightlife was as much a part of her childhood as PBJs and hopscotch. The Brazilian entertainer’s father was a nightclub owner and her brothers were all DJs. Music, and more importantly the art of DJing, as been with her since always.

“'I've been into it as long as I can remember, after school I would be in the DJ booth helping my brothers, learning the ropes.”

At the age of 15 she put an almost guaranteed career as a DJ on hold in lieu of an international modeling contract. When you got it, you got it!!! From Brazil to Japan, Paris to Milan and beyond, Tatiana’s natural beauty and affinity for life set her apart from the rest. So far apart in fact, she caught the eye of Academy Award winning director Oliver Stone and was cast in ‘Any Given Sunday.’

In 2001 she landed in LA and launched her acting career. Coupled with her modeling abilities, she was cast opposite Eva Longoria in a 2005 Pepsi ad campaign. As she continues to model and act, her success has allowed her to return to her original passion, music.

Her signing with DC-based Bullitt Bookings proves this Brazilian model is far more than just a pretty face behind the decks. Bullitt, home to world class acts like Umek, Dubfire and Nic Fanciulli, is no sugar coated, fluff agency. They only deal with the best in tech. We were floored after listening to her July 2010 mix.

With roots in 80’s, rock and the most underground of techno and tech-house, you can expect the well-rounded Fontes to throw one hell of a party this Friday at POP@Ultrabar. See you there!!!
